However, what precipitated it was an unfair tax system. So, the pendulum swings thru the arc and past the balanced point for awhile. Let's discuss something more topical: Kids, their education, and public unions. The world has 7 Billion people and is hitting resource limits. By being a parent, you aren't doing anyone a favor (just the opposite in fact). This isn't 1830 America. Surprisingly, one doesn't pay less school taxes as a non parent than one who has 12 kids. That needs to end. Finally, although the teachers union will ABSOULTELY hate this... the solution to educating massive amounts of children within the funds available is as easy as: 1st grade --- channel 1 2nd grade --- channel 2 etc. Let's not have to re invent the wheel each school year. Video teacher. Record once, play many times. All for a fraction of cost. OK Unions, rant & rave against it, but it's coming and even YOU can sense it.
